AlfaTwo Ladak

AlfaTwo Ladak is an improved Ladak variety developed for drought tolerance and overall persistence for low rainfall regions. The leaves are blue-green colored with a smaller surface area. The variety has the ability to quickly take advantage of rainfall to be productive and rebuild itself for tolerating the next extended dry period. AlfaThree

AlfaThree is a remarkably durable, and versatile, fall dormancy 3 alfalfa variety. It is best used in a three- or four-cut system and is suitable for silage or hay operations. The variety has great forage yields and traffic tolerance, along with a great disease resistance package. With these characteristics, AlfaThree is ideal for the dairy and beef producers in the cooler climates of the northern U.S. and Canada or other areas that desire a three- or four-cut system.

AlfaThree Grazer

AlfaThree Grazer is an exceptionally versatile alfalfa variety. It has a sunken crown which provides numerous benefits, including better winter hardiness and excellent traffic tolerance. Those characteristics, along with a fall dormancy rating of 3, allows AlfaThree Grazer to be planted from Canada to Mexico. Although AlfaThree Grazer has been selected for persistence under grazing, it is also an excellent option for three- and four-cut systems. AlfaFour Supreme

AlfaFour Supreme is a new, high-quality alfalfa variety with industry-leading yields. It replaces AlfaFour in the CHS Seed Resources product portfolio. AlfaFour HG

AlfaFour HG is a cutting-edge fall dormancy 4 variety. The product includes Hi-Gest® Technology, which increase digestibility. The product includes 7-10% reduction in whole plant lignin, 5-8% higher leaf to stem ratio, and crude protein levels 3-5% higher. AlfaFour Silage

AlfaFour Silage is a high-quality alfalfa variety that specializes in maximum protection against northern root-knot nematode. Additionally, it has remarkable regrowth after harvest, growing up to 2 cm per day. With great winter hardiness and a broad pest-resistant package, AlfaFour Silage can be planted throughout the U.S. It is best utilized in a four- to five-cut silage system. AlfaFour ST

AlfaFour ST (ST being and abbreviation for salt tolerance) is an improved fall dormancy 4 variety, with strong yields, a broad pest/disease resistance package, and good quality. AlfaFour Rancher

Many operations include minimally managed alfalfa stands, such as mixed grass stands or fields in tougher growing conditions (arid regions or rangeland, for example). Planting the newest, best-performing varieties may not always produce the best returns if water, fertilizer, pest control and harvest schedules are unpredictable or impractical. AlfaFour Rancher is an improved brand designed for minimally managed fields. It includes solid varieties that will quickly respond to rainfall or other inputs, producing good yields, or persist through harsher growing conditions.

L-446RR Genuity® Roundup Ready® Alfalfa

L-446RR has shown in numerous variety trials to be a high-yielding, high-quality Roundup Ready® variety. The fall dormancy 4 product has a very good winter hardiness rating, a 30/30 disease package and very fast regrowth after cutting. It works best in 4- to 5-cut operations.

AlfaFive

AlfaFive is a versatile fall dormancy 5 alfalfa. It has a sunken crown for excellent winter hardiness and traffic tolerance. Its recovery after cutting is exceptionally quick. AlfaFive has very good resistance to numerous common pests and diseases. L-450RR Genuity® Roundup Ready® Alfalfa

L-450RR is a fall dormancy 5 variety with good winter hardiness ratings that allow the variety to be planted across a wide geography. Best used in a 5- to 6-cut harvest schedule, L-450RR is a workhorse, providing the potential for large yields while maintaining high forage quality.

AlfaSix

AlfaSix is a improved, fall dormancy 6 alfalfa. It is an exceptional yielder and is ideal for silage production, although AlfaSix can also be used for dry hay production. With a strong disease package, it can provide consistent yields for three or more years. AlfaSix is best used in a six- to seven-cut system in the Southern Plains and Southwest.
