DesertMax
DesertMax is a perennial forage mix designed for dryland plantings in the Plains and West. It consists of high-quality, drought-tolerant forages that excel and mature at slightly different times to provide a long grazing window with relatively little rainfall. DesertMax can also be used for dryland hay production, with one or two productive cuttings possible in spring and early summer. DesertMax is best established with a spring dryland planting, but it can be fall planted if irrigation is available. For more information, click on the tech sheet download link.

LeafyMax
LeafyMax is a cool-season, perennial grass mix ideal for most hay and pastures. While designed for persistence and yield for the northern half of the U.S., LeafyMax also produces a very high-quality forage stand. As a result, it can be used with confidence on intensively managed beef and dairy operations, both for grazing or hay. As long as the stand receives adequate moisture, LeafyMax can thrive in a variety or climatic and soil types. A majority of the mix consists of improved medium- to late-maturing orchardgrass and improved endophyte-free tall fescue. For more information, click on the tech sheet download link.
