Sept. 28, 2015 – CHS Seed Resources announced earlier this month that Derek Barber has accepted the position of district sales manager and agronomist for CHS Seed Resources, covering North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana east of the Continental Divide.
Derek spent 17 years as an agricultural education instructor and the past seven years as an agriculture extension agent for the University of Florida. Derek has received state and national awards from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents on the production and management of forages and livestock.
Derek received a B.S. in agricultural operations management from the University of Florida. Derek and his wife, Angie, have one son and now reside in Dickinson, N.D.
